Aplikasi seperti Truecaller sangat penting as first line of defence atau pertahanan awal untuk mengelakkan anda memulakan komunikasi dengan scammer.
Penjualan garam beriodin dikuatkuasakan

Jumaat, 25 September 2020 @ 11:41 AM
MCMC: Telcos to optimise existing spectrum for 4G, 700MHz to be released later based on need

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 — Malaysia has recently introduced the Jendela plan which aims to boost connectivity nationwide especially in rural areas.
The initial target of rolling out 5G in Q3 2020 has taken a back seat as the government is now prioritising improvements of existing 4G networks.
An improved 4G coverage would serve as a strong foundation to ensure that 5G can be rolled out in an efficient and effective manner.
One of the key targets is to expand 4G population coverage from 91.8 per cent to 96.9 per cent within phase 1 of Jendela (2020-2022). Responding to our queries on spectrum, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has told us that all service providers will have to expand their coverage with their existing resource.
This is an indication that there won’t be any new spectrum allocation and all providers will have to make full use of their existing spectrum to improve their 4G experience.
COMMENT | On the 5th anniversary of the UN Sustainable Development Goals

2020 is a significant and defining year for the international community. Today marks five years that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework, or Agenda 2030, was unanimously endorsed by the 193 member states of the United Nations on Sept 25, 2015.
Because the progress of the goals, to date, has been too slow, this is also the year that the Decade of Action was announced to accelerate the SDGs. And all of these coincide with the 75th anniversary of the United Nations.
Rewinding the clock back to five years ago, the powerful 15-year framework of the SDGs that emerged from the largest global consultation ever was formulated to ensure all member states work towards a common goal – a renewed and reinvigorated global commitment to a more inclusive, prosperous and environmentally sustainable future for all underpinned by good governance.
Guided by the principle of leaving no one behind, the SDGs are a call to action to all parts of society – government, businesses, civil society and citizens themselves – doing their part to achieve the most ambitious common vision that the world has ever had.

IWK denies its sewage treatment plant behind latest Sungai Gong pollution
- Details
September 20, 2020 @ 1:48pm
KUALA LUMPUR: Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) today denied that the black discolouration of water at Sungai Gong yesterday was due to effluent discharge from its Rawang Integrated Industrial Park Sewage Treatment Plant (GBK134).
In a statement today, IWK said it believes that the effluent was released by an illegal waste disposal unit near the plant, and that the water had turned a deep yellow.
IWK chief executive officer Narendran Maniam said chemical dosage works were immediately carried out to control the situation.
He said staff at the plant first noticed that non-sewage waste was present in the plant's inlet chamber, causing water in the final stage of treatment at the plant to be imbued a deep yellow.

Extend loan moratorium, say master builders still reeling from multibillion-ringgit losses
- Details
September 18, 2020 4:09 PM
BUTTERWORTH: A group representing contractors and suppliers today called on the government to extend the loan repayment moratorium for construction-related companies by another six months to March, saying it is still reeling from the RM11.6 billion monthly losses because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) said while the government has given an assurance it would carry out projects to kick-start the construction industry, the ability to stave off debt by these companies continues to be a concern.
Its president Foo Chek Lee said while construction work had resumed after the movement control order (MCO) was relaxed, they could only operate at 80% capacity, earning just enough to cover their costs.
“The construction industry involves 190 downstream industries, so if we were to grind to a halt, other unrelated industries would also be paralysed.
“While we are happy the government plans to roll out over 300 tenders related to infrastructure works in the coming year to spur the industry, the pressing problem is our ability to settle outstanding debts.

He noted that some three-ply face masks sold here have low filtration levels.
